This hotel offers great value for money with its convenient location right opposite the ferry port. It's perfect for those needing a stopover in Ermoupoli. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms, although slightly small, are clean and well-maintained, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast, although lacking in quality options, is sufficient to start your day.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

The newly decorated, public areas are well appointed, spacious and comfortable, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, sound control from the busy street was good, the room was generally clean and the breakfast buffet was typical, basic and fresh. This is a reasonable value in terms of the aesthetics of the public areas, general location, and ameneties. Wi-fi was free and worked well in the lobby but not in the room. Location is very proximate to the ferry landing, there are decent views from some of the front-end rooms, it is an easy walk to all tourist-oriented features.
Seasonal rates were in affect however the air conditioning was not activated yet in spite of outside temperatures in the mid to high 80's. Not a good customer retention strategy just to save operating costs. While the room was typically small for this location type and the bathroom fixtures and fittings not in great condition, the biggest liability was the lack of A/C at this time of year.

I think the most positive for this hotel is its location, exactly opposite to the port of Syros. That makes comfortable the transferring of the luggage only by walking.
The fact that it's located only by walking from the port, makes it amazingly noisy. I could hardly sleep in the night without the noise of the street deep inside my ear...Also, inside the hotel, the sound isolation of each room was very very bad...

We liked in particular the location of the hotel just next to port. The building was very beautiful with nice high rooms, and buffet breakfast was served in a beautiful big room from where one could see the port and lively street. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
We liked the lively environment close to the port and city centre. If somebody wants to stay in a nice city hotel Diogenis is a good choice but if one is looking for peaceful and quiet environment, it is not for him/her.

We loved the location of the hotel, right across the ferry port and very close to the central square. It was also conveniently close to everything, which made it easier for us to explore this city. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff was polite and helpful, and the breakfast was basic but filling.
Nothing, all excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location is simply unbeatable, situated right in front of the port for ferries which depart directly opposite. This made it incredibly convenient for me to explore the city and hop on a ferry to other parts of the island. The staff at this place were exceptional, providing excellent service and going out of their way to meet any request. They were kind and accommodated my request for a non-feather pillow. I was also impressed by the range of amenities available in the rooms, including heating, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. The terrace provided stunning views and the in-room safe gave me peace of mind. The hotel also offered convenient services such as room service and car hire.
This hotel would be perfect for families as well, with its ample facilities and friendly staff.

The hotel's location was excellent, just across the street from the port and within walking distance to the town's shops and restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view of the water and sunrise, but the bathroom was quite small, and our WIFI connection was weak. Breakfast was delicious and well worth its price.
